I had one, a 56". It was beautiful, had the best grip I have had on a wooden riser. Only issue was that it was 65lb at 26" so ended up being too heavy for me so it got sold.

I shot really well and was dead in the hand..I guess the full Phenolic riser helps.

I will definitely get another one...someday..

 

I have received informaton that Cascade Archery is no longer selling bows, due to Check-Mate bows no longer being made. Does anyone have any information on this? Thank you.

 

That is correct Steve is not selling any bows at the moment. I have two of his bows one is a night hawk 52" with three sets of limbs and the other is a whitetail hawk 58" that is around 60# it is a nice shooter but a little heavy for me so I don't shoot it much.

 

I have a Cascade take-down. 48" 69#@28". Used it for hunting pig tunnels. That was back when my 38" waist was up on my chest.

It would put a 2020 arrow thru a lot of pig. Used the sight window for aiming. Tough bow.

I shot a 234# pig with it at 7 FEET. Pig went 70 yards and folded. Pretty exciting

 

Thank you for the information, was looking at the 62in. Night Hawk, around 65#, I hope he resumes selling his bows.
