Well, you shoot your wife's patio table of course 😉
It was muddy out so I set my target on her table on the patio. I was shooting at 10 then 20 and 25 yards and doing ok. I decided to step back to 30 and whack! I thought I just ruined a $12.00 arrow. Turns out those Black Eagle vintage arrows are pretty tough. Couldn't find anything wrong with it except yellow paint on the 150gr tip.
Now to face the wife.🤫
BTW, bow was my Discovery with 45# TT Blackmax 2.0 carbon wood medium limbs.
Arrow is 31 1/2" Black Eagle vintage 400 with 150 gr field point and 50 gr brass insert.

Re: What happens when you drop your bow arm?
Easy fix, put the target away and turn the table.
Or cover hole with yellow electrical tape.
Or tell her the truth and say it’s better than putting an apple on her head.
Ok don’t listen to me.

Re: What happens when you drop your bow arm?
That hole just needs company. A few more, and no one will even notice that one.

Just act like you are shocked and outraged when she finds it. Works 40% of the time.

That's a very mild case....a bad case and you'll shoot yourself in the foot!

Maybe you can volunteer to let her shoot a hole through your bow.

Re: What happens when you drop your bow arm?
Fill the hole with plumbers putty and in 20-30 minutes touch up with yellow paint. She'll never know the difference.
