Default anodizing a das riser

can a riser be redone and to a different color, and can 3rivers do it? Are das risers and limbs contracted out or are they built inhouse at 3rivers?

I bet they are contracted out. Contact 3r and they will answer these questions better than us. Or Google anodizing in your area...or youtube how to do it yourself

Thanks guys, would be nice if i could just send it to 3rivers all intact and they could redo it for me. I have a 17" dalaa thats gold or maybe bronze, but its really faded, not looking very good at all.

I am in the aluminum machining business.
You can reanodize aluminum, but the riser will have to be very aggressively stripped.
Meaning you will actually remove a very slight amount of material, as anodize very slightly penetrates the surface usually .0002" - .0003" deep.
Not bad for the body of the riser but the tapped holes will suffer unless masked.
I would bead blast the surface and get it painted or powder coated.
Painting allows for touch ups if needed, there are many more colors and it will be much cheaper.
