Heel down aggravates the issue.

In a fit of desperation, I switched the limbs. I placed the bottoms up top and bingo... the bow is quiet. I don't mean quieter, I mean nearly silent. The arrow flight and groupings are as good as I've ever been able to shoot and I can feel the draw with the 'let off' much more pronounced. I thought this had to be a placebo effect so I went back to the normal set up and it's a marked difference. The release is smoother, it's not punishing to my fingers as much.

I have no explanation and I can't see why this would be the case. Maybe they were marked wrong coming out of the factory - who knows. I've got what feels like a new and better bow. Bareshaft I'm right in there with the fletchings, with only a slight nock high.

My final nocking point is lower it's at 3/8 and I have very smooth flight and noticably reduced vibration. This sounds like a cheesy infomercial and frankly I"m stunned. Wished I'd done it sooner.

But wait! There's more! For three easy payments of 29.95....
