Ye Olde Mosin!
91/30 42R I have reworked.
Added a walnut cheek piece.
Bedded, pillar bedded.
Cut and crowned barrel, brass ball turned.
AIM mount with a horizontal rear slot for base alignment.
Trigger work with a 6x32 screw down through the top of the trigger to limit slack and creep/sear height.
Ring added to cocking piece for easy safety on and off.
Old K4 Weaver.
Action and tang bedded.
Butt plate 3/8's inch Delrin R. Harrelson sent me with skateboard tape on the back to keep the rifle sticky to my shoulder, thanks Rick!
Removed all metal cross lugs and added a fiberglass 5/16's horizontal rod behind the recoil lug.
Slugged my barrel, .311
Hand loads have down to MOA with three shots but have only worked with one load.
150 Sierra soft point, .311 diameter.
4320 powder. (not going to say how many grains on an open forum) Consult manuals or PM me for the weight in grains.
