I am looking to buy a pair of Border Covert Hunter, Hex 7.5, 8 or 9, long limbs, 35 to 40 lbs at 29 inches.
Thanks.

Russ,
There might be something in stock at Border. Or on the clearance page listing. Maybe Hex 7.5 or Hex 8, but I don't recall any Hex 9 limbs.
Prices are really good right now given the US dollar to Pound exchange. That is likely to change and not in our favor.
I am currently waiting on a new set of Hex 9 mediums for my CH.
Although orders are down, Border is still not back to full staff due to Covid restrictions in the UK.
But they are working hard to fill orders ASAP.

Hi Bill,
Thanks. I actually looked there first. I have a Mosstrooper on order and was hoping I could get a pair of limbs sent at the same time. Unfortunately, the limbs I wanted and they had listed, were sold. I am thinking about a pair of 9s from them.
Thanks a lot for your help. You are always a great resource on this forum and always there with positive suggestions.
Be well.

When I ordered my limbs Sid told me 4-6 weeks. Four week mark has passed but I have a chance to make 5 weeks. If not, I have others to use for bow season opening next weekend. Border is doing everything that they can, given the circumstances right now.
I am jealous of the Mosstrooper. Not as efficient as CH, but great looking.

Hey Bill,
Let me know what you think of the Hex 9s, when you get them. Or have you already owned some? It will be another 8 - 9 weeks before I get the Mosstrooper.

Just ordered a set of Hex 9 H XL 39 @ 28. Waiting on Mrs. Ann to send invoice. They are stock limbs, so I'm not sure how quickly they will arrive, but would be happy to give feedback when they do. I'll be shooting them off a 17" CH riser. Have been shooting Hex 8 H L 39 @ 28 prior and absolutely love them, but Sid said with my draw being close to if not 30" I need XL limbs. Congrats on the Mosstrooper!

Stock limbs will be much faster. I was just emailing back and forth with Sid Sr today.
The have had to go into farther social distancing in the UK. The result is that he can now use even fewer employees in the shop. You can't make the shop bigger to accomidate the extra distances so, less people can work in that space. He was at 50% so not sure what he is at now. He and Ann are not even permitted in the actual shop right now. Limited emploees of the shop only.
Scotand has had a big jump in Covid cases due to people failing to follow guidelines and instead going to vacation areas and mixing.

Hey folks. Someone bought those Hex 9 H XL 39 @ 28 before Ann could send me the invoice. Just got an email from Sid. Trying to work out a 19" riser with 40 @ 28 Hex 9 H Longs as we speak. Sorry to hear they had a spike in cases over there. If I get mine before anyone post further on this, I'll add my two cents for what it is worth.

Thanks. That does suck about Scotland and their Covid cases. I wish them well. We all need to be careful and wear masks.
