show your DAS bows 2018
I spent some time lately dropping off most all my ILF things to make room.
here's a picture of my minimalist DAS stash.
Some I acquired recently and I've not yet spent time setting them up with my grips & rests & plungers & limb sets & strings & arrows, & tuning.
My gen1 sits as I've been shooting it, with 40# camo Winex mediums & a Steve Baker Mountain Muffler string.....in fact I got the riser from Steve.... thanks Steve.
the gen1 started this, for me, I saw that it needed some friends.
left-to-right, Tribute, Elite, Elite, Gen1, bronze Dalaa.

Re: show your DAS bows 2018
My one and only. But it is quite rare. This bow has been to two IBO World Championships and all over the woods of Kansas. Ever shot one metal bow long enough to wear through the finish? I have on this one.

Re: show your DAS bows 2018
My current collection is below. Not included in the pic, I have a Copper DX5 on loan and a Bronze Dalaa on the way. I’ve spent a lot of money on Bows. I have landed on DAS as my preferred choice.
The 21” Dalaa is my sentimental favorite, I will never part with this riser. This is not my original 21. My original was Nat Gear, I loved that bow.
The 19” Tribute is a very forgiving riser that may be the single best do it all riser on the market. A 21” or 25” version of the Tribute would be a game changer. If the folks at 3R have a shred of human kindness in their body they will produce a 21” or 25” Tribute.

Lovely looking risers. You guys have got me thinking about these again. A 21" or 19" looks good.

Here are my two...got rid of my two dalaas.. David's bows are very special. I found these two a month apart last summer. I didn't have the money but couldn't resist the elite. I just figured at a certain point the remaining elites will fall in with permanent owners or collectors.

Re: show your DAS bows 2018
note - in my picture, see my 2 ELITEs, and see 2 different side tag scripts, where one ELITE word is larger than the other......inside same size cirlcles.
anyone know which is older? or anything ?
Did David do any camo Elites?
Did David send out any risers "in the white" for folks to do their own finish?

Anton’s Gen2 has a unique label as well as compared to my G2. I wish we had a timeline when these were used.
Crunch,
The Modern Tribute or updated 21” will hang with if not surpass some of the old risers in terms of shoot-ability. I don’t want us fussy “collectors” to make a new Archer think they have to spend the extra cash to get an older riser.
I constantly remind folks the Tribute is the shooter of my bunch. The Current Production Tribute is a very special riser, the Updated 21” Dalaa is another great do it all riser. Hunting to IBO.

Here is his Nat Gear Hydrodip Handy work. The old School Three Rivers Nat Gear Camo continues to be my favorite.

I'll second what Greencb said, the new and improved 21 and the 19" Tribute are both awesome do it all risers. I favor the length of the 21 simply because I like a longer bow, but I also love how the Tribute shoots. You can't go wrong with either one of them. By the way, the DAS connection is quieter on the shot than any standard ILF and more secure when taking them down. It takes 5 mins to swap the ILF bushings out of virtually any limb to DAS bushings. Don't let that scare you into ignoring the benefits of the DAS connection.

I agree that there is nothing wrong with the new das risers. I hope to add one of the new 21 inch risers at some point and believe that it will be every bit as good a bow as my elite, and possibly a better bow for hunting with a little bit less weight and I really like the reinforcement on the site window and the stainless steel stabilizer bushing with the new dalaa.
My generation 2 I believe is one of the earlier ones because of the lettering and it is also personalized on the other side of the Riser which I believe was something they did early on. I really like the fortal aluminum in this riser. Were all the g2s made with fortal? The Anodizing is amazing and super tough on these risers. I believe the G2 to be a perfect 17 inch riser the only flaw that I can see in it is that it is not 19 in. because I like to shoot a bow that is longer than 62 in Long. I hesitate to buy a tribute because of the lack of grip options and I do not like how excessively Center shot it is. But that is just personal preference I suppose a lot of people like the far cut Beyond center Shot.
