Once it gets to early evening on the west coast things really slow down on the forum. At some point we get the overseas folks commenting, but we usually do not see their posts until the morning. So this is the check in. Let us know if you are out there. Add a post when you see this thread. Make a comment. Anything will do. We are heading into the weekend. Let's see how many folks join in and at what time. Let's also see how early the North American folks check into Tradtalk as the sun rises on a new day of archery.
It's 8:51 Saturday morning in England. I'm drinking my morning tea and taking my medication. I'll soon be out and about with the my dog Otto and the off to the Field club. Still like a kid in a sweet shop with my new Venom and now I have a new toy ..a snakewood elb ....
It is 4:57 AM and I am up. Going to a small family winery in the Ramona wine district today to pick and stomp grapes. They charge a dollar I presume so that we are covered by insurance.
It is a nice, cheap way to get your grapes picked.
Was up at 6:15 AM PST. Fed our hound pack (2 yellow pointing lab pups, 2 older "house mutts"), made some coffee with the retro stovetop percolator, caught up on the news, and seeing what's new on TT. Working at home today (building a reservoir in our draw to store water for firefighting and maintaining a spot of green around the house during the summer months), so I will probably check TT several times during the day. I generally check TT at about 9:30 PM before I let the hound pack out one last time and then shuffle off to bed.
Thx Joe, there’s not to much appealing to me on the tube but this resonates well with my values in life.
And as I know this crowd, I’m not alone to relate!
8:22 A.M.. Hauled some pairs down from the hills this A.m. and just shaved and showered. Going to have a quick bite to eat and then take my daughter to some Christmas bazaars so she can pick up baked goods. Lazy day today!
