Default Damon Howatt Hunter date when made

Hello Everyone.

I had a question and was wondering if anyone could date this Damon Howatt Hunter Bow I recently acquired in trade. I tried sending a message to Larry, but I don't think my messages are going out since there is nothing in my out box. it could be because I just signed up today. Also, I was told this type of bow you can keep strung as long as it is stored properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

From the serial number, first digit "2" it could be 1972, 1982 or 1992. The wood limb tips are pre-fast-flight so I doubt 1992.

The laminate riser makes me think 1982. (Larry will probably shoot holes in my guess...)

Anyway, nice bow!

PS, you'll probably want to use a Dacron string, and they stretch over time. Might be best to un-string it for extended storage.

Thanks, Larry got back to me on pm. He said it was made in 1992. Thanks Larry and DanaC.
