Default York Crescent

Looking for information on York bows. I have a York Crescent made in Independence, Mo. 397-B on riser. Amo 64", 35#, 10 strand string. Can anyone tell me what the brace height is supposed to be on this bow. Right now I have it set at 7". Seems to shoot fairly well, however, I'm relativey new at the trad. game and starting to shoot rather close to the target. Bow is approx. 35 years old. York is no longer in business. Thanks, Roland

According to Archery Archives (www.archeryarchives.com) the 64" Crescents all took a 7" brace; the 66" Crescents varied between 8" for the early models and 9" for the later.

Thanks for the info. My brace height was close. I just reset it to 7"". That should do the trick.
