Default Bamabows?

I've seen these bows listed on ebay and they look very nice to me. Does anyone have one? How do you rate it?

For under $300, it seems like an excellent deal!

Do not know much about them. I too have been curious of their quality. One way to find out, buy one and let us know. LOL

I think I am going to try one. I love the Gamemaster II, but, I really wanna try a long bow.

Here's the new bow... I can't wait to shoot it!

I also checked the spine of my arrows, and when drawn @ 28.5", my 29.5" 2016's with 5" feathers and 150 grain points ought to be perfect.

I only hope I can give you a good one. This will be my first longbow. Nathan, the owner, bowyer said it shipped this morning. Now that's fast!

The only downside is I'll probably get it Tuesday, my first day back to work.

Ok, I just got the bow a half an hour ago and shot it about 6 times or so...

Holy crap....this thing should be in a league of it's own compared against a recurve. It is beautiful beyond words, way more beautiful than even in the photos. I'm working on setting the brace right now. My firat "shot" yielded a stinger to the wrist which felt more like being hit with a baeball bat. It is silent as can be. I dont have an armguard, so I just put a sweatshirt on. Like they say, if you're gonna be dumb, you gotta be tough.

Once I get the grip down, I think this will be fun. I didn't know I'd have to hold the bow @ quite a an extreme angle, 2 & 8 if that makes sense. I'm gonna check what the brace recommendation is. The more the better.

And oh yeah, I need an arm guard!!

@ the least this will make me a better recurve archer. A 40# recurve feels like a toy after shooting a 47# longbow.

Good news! The brace was a little over an inch low...

Thank God!
