Epic, yes.
Thats the nature of depredation hunting. We routinely arrow 20 deer a year down here with bow. Been doing it for a decade.
Lost count of whitetails at fourteen in 2016 when i got Lyme. Do rememder arrowing three one nite with Warf after Lyme in Dec. Was over a ton of protien on hoof.
Got to keep from losing ten rows to these four legged bean eaters.

Interview was great!!
Like reading a good ol Archery book.
The part where he tells about the buck 133". I hunted that place on Ft Campbell for a bunch of yrs. Its off the Golf course in Senior Enlisted housing area. My 5th grp buddy lived there. We killed so many deer outta his quarters there. The neighbors hand fed them. We shot em on the ridge by that creek he spoke of.
The Airfield he spoke of is Area #1 fort campbell, KY. Hunted there and a property that is private farm which connects it. Going in to that place was area 00B we would routinely push 60-80 doe's off bean field going in at O dark 30.
One day years ago i saw two different bucks both 170 class in there.
Thing is about those spots. Butt load of deer but a 150" deer commonly dress out 115lbs. Ive taken a pile outta 00B and #1 both in two white oaks stands. I would see always about 40 deer in recurve range a day, most within 12yds.
To bad that the depredation hunting there now has been screwed up by guys not following the regulations and they not letting us retired, active or civilians get on depredation control hunts 2017. Damm shame!

Matt,
Thank you to you and Tim so much for doing what you guys do for our great sport. On the long drive from DeKalb, IL to Chapmansboro, TN to attend the Tennessee Classic, I was able to listen to your interview with Jason, and on the way home, I was able to listen to your interview with Mr. Wensel. While there I got to chat briefly with Jimmy. I also meet Mr. Asbell.

I listened to Jimmy's interview at home last night and on the way home from work today. He, along with the others, are ambassadors for this fabulous sport we call archery. You are becoming one as well. Your passion for the sport, and for bringing these interviews to the airwaves, will be enjoyed by many for many years to come.

Rick,

Thanks so much for the kind words. We owe it all to the great generosity of our guests that volunteer or agree to come on the horn and give us an evening to barrage them with questions regarding this beautiful sport. They are the best!

Matt and Tim
You guys did a really good job on this one. Every podcast so far has had good content and good guests and Jimmy Blackmon was great in this one.
But you two guys are getting better and better as hosts as these pod casts go along.
Keep up the good work.

BTW, You are going to love Twin Oaks, I wish you could have attended the TN Classic, it is very different than the IBO Trad Worlds.

Smag, 603 with repeat customers, or 603 different people? I know a lot of people shoot multiple classes. It's a big shoot regardless
