Re: Draw lenghts for super recurves
Bfish, I agree concerning my CHs. Very satisfied.
Moog, your post reminds me of a story. I had a big bow collection in the 90s. When looking at a wall full of Bears early to latest, it was obvious they had deflexed and relaxed their limbs in the late 60s and into the 70s. In the early 70s they were pushing the Kodiak Magnum in ads on the rear cover of a popular bowhunting magazine. That ad showed pictures of 6'10" Darryl Imhoff(pro basketball player and 5' tall Midge Dandridge, both in camos, and boasted that both hunters were thrilled with the Kodiak Magnum! A 52" bow-can't be! On my wall at the time were Magnums dating from several of their prototypes through the 70s....and the hooks were obviously relaxed more and more almost yearly. The prototypes and early 60s Magnums were not all that bad shooters...later, they all stunk(IMO)! They were trying to appeal to all shooters with the same bows. Not many n oticed then, I think because the compound took over almost everything for most archers. Only a few of us stuck with the "old stickbow" designs.
