Default Yew selfbow pictures

A lot of folks have asked so here are pics. 42# @ 27.5" Yew billets glued up. The bow is backed in beef rawhide.

That bow is so elegant looking...that I would be hesitant to call it "Primitive" Very nice!!!

Very nice bow. I have made several yew bows and have one that John Strunk made for me. These pictures inspire me to leave laminated bows for a while and make some self bows. I have some old wood to use up. Once again ,nice job and be careful in cold weather. Yew is a lot more delicate than Osage.
